About RSS Feeds

The Princess Royal Trust for Carers now has a free RSS news feed. If you subscribe to the feed, you'll find out the latest news on as it is published, without needing to visit the site.

Getting started with RSS

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds are an easy way to keep up to date on the news that is of interest to you. All you need to access the feed is a news reader or aggregator. RSS readers can automatically download the latest news from your selected websites.

You can find a variety of news readers to download on Google or Yahoo.

Alernatively, if you use a web browser such as Firefox, Opera or Safari you can use the automation built in to them to pick up and view RSS feeds in your browser itself.

What RSS feeds are there on

We currently have a feed for the latest news, but may roll out further ones in due course as demands change.

If there are any others you would be interested in seeing, please let us know at

How do I sign up?

Simply click on the orange button for the feed and follow the instructions for adding it in the particular news reader you are using.

Or if you use Firefox, click on the orange symbol in the bottom right of your browser and follow the instructions to add the RSS feed to your bookmarks.

Your RSS reader will then check for headline updates on and give you the links to click through for full details on the site.
